What are the rules regarding the provision of Exit Qualification
of MSc(CS) to Students who complete Four Semesters of MCA? |

After successful completion of the first
four semesters of MCA, if a student wishes to discontinue the
course, such student shall be awarded the Master of Science
in Computer Science, MSc(CS).

MSc(CS) is an exit qualification of MCA.
Hence, the student has to be enrolled in MCA. He becomes eligible
for MSc(CS) on successful completion of the first four semesters.

Following conditions apply for becoming eligible
for the award of MSc(CS):

A student is required to appear and successfully
complete I, II, III and IV semesters of MCA to become eligible
for the award of MSc(CS).

In case of Lateral entry scheme to Second
Semester, a student who takes lateral entry in II semester will
also be eligible for the award of MSc(CS) on successful completion
of I, II, III and IV semester examinations.
Students who take lateral entry in third semester
MCA are NOT eligible for the award of MSc(CS) except those who are
given lateral in entry III semester in MCA by virtue of having a
Graduation plus PGDCA / PGDIT from a recognized University or successful
completion of DOECC after Graduation. (In case of Lateral Entry
in III semester, students have to appear and pass the second semester
examination while appearing for the III semester examination. They
are exempted from I semester examination and hence the result sheet
will indicate I semester as EXEMPTED). |

What is the procedure for Dual Specialization for MBA Course?

present. |
