Diploma in Information Technology [DIT]
The Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) program has been developed to provide the students with adequate knowledge, both theoretical and practical, to meet the ever growing manpower requirement in the field of Information Technology in various industries and administrative fields.
Objectives:The course is geared towards realizing the following objectives
1. Providing an in-depth understanding of and experience with computer systems.
2. Developing creative and analytical skills that provide a basis for technological problem solving.
3.Equipping students with the technical knowledge required
for an IT professional to handle multi-tasking situations
and to
assess and develop computer based solutions.
4. Providing the ability to apply knowledge, manage projects and work effectively in diverse teams.
Eligibility: 10 + 2 or equivalent/ 3 year Diploma from a State Board of Technical Education.
Min Duration: 1 year (2 Semesters)
Max Duration: 2 years
Semester Fee: Rs11100/- per semester inclusive of examination fees or as revised from time to time.
