Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology [PGDIT]
The PGDIT program is aimed at designing and implementing advanced traditional computing environment. IT architecture is an integrated framework for acquiring and evolving IT to achieve strategic goals. It has both 'logical' and 'technical' components . The logical components include mission, functional and informational requirements, System configurations, and information flows. The technical components include IT standards and rules that will be used to implement the logical architecture. It therefore includes both computing and communication network technology in the same world. After completion of Second semester of MScIT students will be awarded the PG Diploma in InformationTechnology(PGDIT).
Objectives: The course is geared towards realizing the following objectives
1. To equip postgraduate students with an integrated set of skills that will allow them to develop their professional careers in Information Technology.
2. To equip students with the theoritical and practical knowledge that is necesary to enable them to understand the design of complex computer applications/Science.
Eligibility: 3 years graduation or equivalent.
Min Duration:1 year (2 Semesters)
Max Duration: 2 years (4 Semesters)
Semester Fee: RS 11,350/- per semester inclusive of exam fees or as revised from time to time..
